Scandinavian Risk Solutions (SRS) offers international maritime basic training according to best practise, including Maritime Security Officer (MSO) training in Sweden.
The target audience includes Scandinavians who are interested in an international authorisation to work as security guards on-board merchant ships. The course program comprises a number of training modules. After successful completion of the training course, participants will receive a SSO certificate in accordance with Swedish Transport Agency regulations, a maritime firearm certificate and a SRS MSO certificate.
The combination of operational training elements, risk management and maritime safety skills ensures compliance with all international standards of the IMO and other industry organizations for MSO training. Participation in the MSO course requires a valid Basic Safety (STCW 95) certificate.
