Scandinavian Risk Solutions (SRS) wins the contract for workplace inspections within the framework of Fair Construction, an initiative by Stockholmshem, Svenska Bostäder, Familjebostäder and Sisab for sound competition and fair working conditions at their construction sites.
In 2017, Stockholmshem took the initiative to fight financial crime, undeclared work and irregularities at their construction sites. The model developed for this project was called Fair Construction. Stockholmshem, Svenska Bostäder, Familjebostäder and Sisab have now signed a declaration of a joint intent to follow this model and to work together in a uniform and proactive way to achieve sound competition and fair conditions at their construction sites.
Fair construction encompasses everything from contract signing to unannounced inspections at construction sites and follow-up of the entire chain of subcontractors. Scandinavian Risk Solutions (SRS) has won the contract for execution of workplace inspections at the construction sites and related company investigations for all four companies.
The agreement came into force in June 2019 and is valid for two years with the possibility of up to two years extension.
